Why is the company admin I created unable to login? - Single sign on

We often get asked why a company admin is unable to log in after they have been granted access through the employee list. Please see below the troubleshooting and how to resolve this.

If you are having issues granting company admin access to an employee within your Space Connect admin portal then the first thing to check is how your organisation is set up. If your organisation is set up to be single sign-on through Microsoft or Google G Suite then you are unable to use the employee list within the Space Connect admin portal as the employees are populated through your Azure Active Directory or Google Admin Console.

Please see below how to grant company admin access depending on your single sign-on method.

Microsoft

Your employees are managed within your Azure active directory. Your Azure global administrator will need to log in to your Azure account and add the employee you wish to grant company admin access to, to your SpaceConnectCompanyWebAdmin security group which has been set up within your security groups. You can find more information about how this is all set up in this article here.

Google

Your employees are managed within your Google Admin Console. Your Google admin will need to log in and add the employee you wish to grant company admin access to, to the SpaceConnectCompanyWebAdmin group within your console. You can find out more information about how this is all set up in this article here.

Please Note: Your Azure/Google global admin will be the only person who can add employees to security groups within your organisation.
