Setup Host Notifications & Uploading a Logo For Email Header

The Space Connect VMS currently offers two ways for a host to be informed of a guest arrival - SMS and Email.  Follow the steps below to configure the methods you would like enabled for alerting a host of the arrival of their guest:

Step 1: Login

Login to the Space Connect admin portal at http://app.spaceconnect.co/admin
From the left hand navigation menu, navigate to Visitor Management > Settings then select the "Notifications" tab.

Step 2: Enable Notifications

It is possible to configure how hosts are notified when a visitor arrives on site.  This can be using email or via SMS message. Toggle the options that are required.

  • Email
  • SMS

Step 3: Set Custom Email Header

The VMS sends emails (to visitors or hosts).  It is possible to configure the email header that is included in these emails. For example to include your corporate branding and logo.

To achieve this, click on "Choose file" and use the file picker dialog to select the relevant file.

Step 4: Save

When any changes have been made to notifications or email header, click the "Save" button.
You will then see a confirmation message stating "Your changes have been updated successfully".
