How to Bulk Import Desks
If you have a large number of desks to add to your system, you may want to consider using our bulk upload feature. This can save you time and effort by allowing you to upload multiple desks at once, rather than entering them one by one. Here's how to do it
Firstly, log in to the admin portal and select the correct method for your organisation.
On the landing page, Click on the "Import Desks" button located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
When you click on the "Import Desks" button, a window will appear giving you the option to either choose a file to upload or download our CSV sample. It's important to note that the spreadsheet you upload must be in the same format as our sample CSV file in order to be uploaded successfully. To ensure that your file is in the correct format, we recommend downloading our sample CSV file and using it as a template for your own data. Simply click on the sample link provided in the window to download the file and edit it with your own desk data.
To import your desk data into Space Connect using a CSV file, you'll need to include the following required information in your spreadsheet:
- Desk Name
- Desk Type
The other sections in the CSV file are optional. Once you've filled in the required information in the spreadsheet, save the document and head back into Space Connect. Then, click on the "Import Desks" option located in the top right-hand corner of the location page and upload the file.
That's it! Once you've uploaded the CSV file with your desk data, our system will import the desks and add them to your desk list automatically. This makes it quick and easy to get all of your desks up and running in no time.
