How to Use Find a Colleague Using the Outlook Plug-in
Find a colleague is a great way to locate anyone who has booked a desk. This makes it easier for a user to choose a desk based on where other members of their team are sitting.
Firstly, In Outlook, go to the calendar and select "New Meeting". The standard "New meeting" dialogue will appear. From the ribbon toolbar, click on the Space Connect Plug-in which has the text "Search for Available Spaces". The Plug-in will launch in a sidebar on the right. A small window may appear whilst the system authenticates you. The Plug-in "Home page" will then be displayed.
This will then open up the "Locate Me" section on the user portal. If you are not already logged into the user portal it may ask you to do so. Please click the correct method of sign-in for your organisation then enter your credentials.
You can then pick the date and time or select real-time. Then search for colleagues in the search bar and if your company has utilised the key contacts section you can also see where your key contacts are sitting.
