How to Set-up the Web Browser Panel App
Follow this guide on Installing the web-based Space Connect Room Panel app. These instructions are aimed at installing the app on an iPad however, any device with a built-in web browser can be used.
Firstly, open Safari web browser on the iPad and enter the website address https://panel.spaceconnect.app
The app will run within the web browser however won't show the full screen by default. To allow the app to run full screen, press the "Share" button in the toolbar and select "Add to Home Screen" followed by selecting "Add".
Tip: You can also change the label of the app that shows below the tile on the home screen.
Exit Safari by pressing the iPad's "Home" button and you should see a tile for the panel app on your home screen. Tap it to start the app in full-screen mode.
Tip: To lock the iPad so users cannot exit from the app, turn on "Guided Access" from the iPad settings and triple-click the iPad "Home" button when on the panel app.
With the app running full screen, select the authentication type you would use to sign into your Space Connect account normally and enter the login details for an Admin user within your Space Connect account.
The app will proceed through a 3-stage verification and once processed will display the app's new settings page
Now on the settings page, select the Location, Floor Level, and Room the panel will show by using the drop-down lists, you can also toggle on any additional settings if required.
Once complete tap the "Save" button in the top right corner or the "Save" button at the bottom to save the settings and show the configured panel app.
