Panel Setup - Yealink Room Panel
How to configure the Space Connect Panel app on a Yealink Room Panel
All Yealink Room Panels should contain the Space Connect Panel app already installed and running. First power up the panel and you should be presented with the Space Connect Panel app login page.
We advise creating a service account and placing it within the Space Connect admin group for panel login purposes. It's important to configure this account so that it's exempt from mandatory password changes or any other settings that might trigger re-authentication.
Simply tap the correct authentication method for your Space Connect account and enter the email address and password of a Company Admin user for your Space Connect account. You can also tap the "Go To Settings" button to change the panel's settings like Date & Time or WiFi connection.
The app will then carry out the verification for the login details and account, and then present you with the settings page for the app. Select the Location, Floor and Room the Room Panel will show the bookings for. You can also change the Additional Settings for the panel if required.
When you have configured the relevant room details, the last step is to save which can be done either by tapping the "Save" button in the top right-hand corner or tapping the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
Once saved the panel settings will disappear and the panel "home" screen will appear showing the room availability
If you need to change the app settings, simply tap the cog wheel in the bottom right corner and enter the pin code. If you need the PIN code, please reach out to support. Please contact our Support Team at support@spaceconnect.co if you need any further support!
If Space Connect is not an option to select please follow the instructions below on how to get this loaded onto your panel.
To begin, access the panel's interface via the web browser using its IP address. Login with the default credentials (username: admin, password: 0000). Next, navigate to the "System" tab located in the left-hand menu and click on "Backup & Restore". From there, choose the "Factory Reset" option to proceed.
Upon reaching the designated page, install the Space Connect Panel app by simply tapping on the Space Connect icon. Once installed, select the "Sign In With Microsoft" authentication option. Then, enter the required credentials for the service account, which will facilitate ad-hoc bookings within the Space Connect Panel app.
It's important to note that if this is the initial instance of signing in with Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) on an external device, you may need the Global Admin credentials on hand. This is to accept the "Space Connect Native" permission set, granting Space Connect the necessary access to interact with your tenancy when logging in through an external or third-party device.
