Note: This process must be performed by a user with administration access.
Space Connect provides the ability to disable the 'BOOK THIS ROOM' feature on the meeting room display panel, preventing users from being able to use the meeting room panel to book meeting.
Follow the steps below to disable ad-hoc bookings.
Step 1: Edit settings for panel app
Select the Settings button located at the bottom right corner of the meeting room display panel.
This will then prompt you to enter the administrator PIN (If you do not have this, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org)
Enter the administrator PIN to restart the panel setup wizard.
Step 2: Login to SpaceConnect
Login to the panel as follows:
Microsoft accounts: Enter the email address of an administrator and select the login button.
G-Suite accounts: Enter the email address of the room booking account you created and select the login button.
Either your Microsoft or Google authentication page will display. Complete your credential information to login. You will be redirected back to the SpaceConnect app.
Step 3: Select Location / Level / Room
The "Location" page will display. Select the location you are setting up for the meeting room panel
The "Level" page will display. Select the level you are setting up for the meeting room panel.
The "Room" page will display. Select the room you are setting up for the meeting room panel.
Step 4: Select layout
The "Layout" page will display. Select the layout you would like for your meeting room panel.
Step 5: Select hardware
The "Hardware" page will display. Select the All-in-one LED Panel.
Step 6: Settings
The "Settings" page will display. To disable ad-hoc bookings, turn on the 'Hide Book This Room Function'.
Step 7: Complete
Select the 'COMPLETE ROOM SETUP' button.
The meeting display will now show meetings without the 'BOOK THIS ROOM' button displayed.
