How to Enable the Camera on your Android/iPhone to allow access to "Scan QR Code" on the Booking Portal

Inside the booking portal, locate the 'Scan a QR code' option for use with your phone. To utilise this feature, you might need to adjust your settings to grant the Progressive Web App (PWA) permission to access your camera. Simply follow the steps detailed in this article to enable this functionality.


Android


To begin, access the booking portal via your mobile device and proceed to "Scan the QR code". A prompt will appear; simply tap "Allow," although this method may not always grant immediate access, if it doesn't please follow the below.


Next, locate the three dots situated on the right side of the site's address bar. From there, navigate to "Settings" and select "Site Settings." Scroll down to find the camera option, expand the blocked list, and locate "Space Connect." Switch its status from "Blocked" to "Allow." Your camera should now seamlessly function with the "Scan a QR Code" feature.

iPhone

First, select the 'Aa' icon in the web address bar, followed by 'Website Settings.' Next, navigate to the 'Camera' option and adjust the settings to either 'Ask' or 'Allow.' Afterwards, refresh your booking portal and choose 'Scan QR Code'—you should now see the camera activated
